SALISBURY — Home Instead Senior Care will host free educational workshops for people caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
The workshops will run from 3 to 5 p.m. and offer information about the diseases and how to handle the stress related to caregiving.
Class sizes are limited and registration is required. The Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver 4 Class Series workshops include:
• Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias, Feb. 14
• Capturing Life’s Journey, Feb. 21
• Techniques to Handle Challenging Behaviors, Feb. 28
• Activities to Encourage Engagement, March 7
