On Feb. 13, 2013, Samuel Ray and Margaret Ritchie Buie of Salisbury are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married on Feb. 13, 1943, at St John’s Lutheran Church and have shared a wonderful life filled with love, faith, family, and adventure.
Since their retirements from Southern Bell Telephone Co. and the Rowan County Dept of Social Services, they have been active with their church, AMVETS and charitable giving.
Their children, Glenda Jones, Barbara Heilig, Brad and Bonnie Buie, as well as their grandchildren, Erin and Andrew Holben, Lauren and Brandon Altieri, and their great-grandchildren, Josh and Audrey Holben, are grateful and blessed to share and celebrate the life and love of Ray and Margaret Buie.
