CHINA GROVE — The Roller Mill Museum’s first open house event of the year will feature classic cars and bluegrass music. The event will take place April 14 at the museum, located at 308 N. Main St. from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
The cars are owned by local car enthusiasts and will be exhibited at the event, which is free and open to the public. During the car show, Frankie Musselwhite and friends will play bluegrass music on the porch. Attendees will also have an opportunity to tour the museum.
Visitors can travel back in time to see how wheat and corn were turned into flour and cornmeal. The story of the community and the mill are told in pictorial exhibits, artifact displays and video. The building that houses the museum was a meeting place for the agricultural community surrounding China Grove.
