Austin Jackson, 18, of Boy Scout Troop 350, received his Eagle Scout Award April 14, 2013, at Rockwell United Methodist Church. Scoutmaster Harold Driver made the presentation.
Austin has earned 23 merit badges and is a member of Order of the Arrow. He currently serves as Troop Guide.
His Eagle project was to clear a primitive trail and build a walking bridge at Spencer Woods Park.
The son of Victor and Mitzi Jackson of Rockwell, Austin is a 12th grader at East Rowan High School.
