SALISBURY — Computer parts were reported stolen from a Knollwood Elementary School mobile classroom after an apparent break-in last week.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies spoke with Principal Shonda Hairston, who said a computer monitor and keyboard had been stolen sometime between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Thursday. Someone had entered through a window after breaking the glass and removing the window screen.
According to the Sheriff’s Office report, it appeared that the person attempted to break into several other mobile classroom units, because several other window screens had been removed.
The stolen monitor and keyboard have an estimated value of $200.
