New trustees at Salisbury Community Foundations

SALISBURY — Two area business and community leaders recently joined the board of trustees of the Salisbury Community Foundation, a regional affiliate and grantmaking arm of Foundation For The Carolinas.
New trustees include Gwin Barr, civic leader and Diane L. Fisher, Salisbury Academy.
Additional trustees and officers include Dwight F. Messinger, chair; J. Steven Fisher, vice chair; Tom E. Smith, immediate past chair; Gregory M. Alcorn, Kathleen S. Boyd, Sarah Busby, Larry T. Cloninger Jr., Sara D. Cook, Shari M. Graham, Judy Grissom, Carol M. Herndon, Richard L. Huffman, Catrelia Steele Hunter, Edward Norvell, C. Cliff Ritchie, Charles D. Taylor Jr., Paul B. Woodson Jr.
The Salisbury Community Foundation, established in 1944, remains committed to assisting individuals and families address their philanthropic needs through charitable giving services; helping local nonprofits secure their futures through endowments and establishment of charitable giving programs; and addressing a broad range of changing local needs through a grantmaking program.
