MOORESVILLE (AP) — Police in Mooresville are investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy found in some woods.
The boy’s name has not been released.
Police say they are awaiting autopsy results to determine how the teen died.
Capt. Joseph Cooke said the teen’s parents thought he was spending the night at a friend’s house. They began searching when the teen did not return home.
The body was found late Saturday afternoon.
