Malinda Fisher Bollinger of Rutherford College is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Jennie Malinda Bollinger, to Richard Cary ‘Tres’ Hyde III.
Jennie is also the daughter of the late James Arthur Bollinger and is the granddaughter of Mary and Cecil Fisher of Salisbury and the late Theda and Art Bollinger of Drexel. A 2000 graduate of East Burke High School, Jennie graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2004, Appalachian State University in 2009 and is currently completing a doctoral degree in psychology at North Carolina State University.
The future groom is the son of Robin and Rick Hyde of Rutherford College and the grandson of Editha and Richard Hyde of Gastonia and James and the late Regina Hamby of Drexel. A 2002 graduate of East Burke High School, Tres attended Appalachian State University. He is currently employed at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, as an Emergency Room Team Leader.
The couple plan a June wedding at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hickory.
