In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Forgery by using or uttering occurred in the 100 block of Circle M Drive between 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 and 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. It was reported on Dec. 1.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of North Jackson Street between noon on Nov. 14 and 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 1.
  • A larceny occurred in the 1900 block of Rosemont Street between 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 1. The total estimated loss was $1,025.
  • A hit and run causing property damage occurred in the 500 block of West Horah Street between 6:30 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. on Dec. 1.
  • An assault with a knife occurred in the 600 block of Newsome Road at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.
  • A larceny occurred in the 200 block of Freedom Drive between noon on Dec. 1 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 2. The total estimated loss was $255.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 1300 block of Klumac Road at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2. The total estimated loss was $179.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 2. The total estimated loss was $55.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 2. The total estimated loss was $204.
  • Vandalism occurred in the 300 block of Bendix Drive between 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 11:01 a.m. on Dec. 3.
  • An assault with a knife occurred in the 500 block of South Caldwell Street at 1:53 p.m. on Dec. 3.
  • A burglary occurred in the 800 block of Park Avenue between 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 3. The total estimated loss was $5,450.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 9 p.m. on Dec. 3. The total estimated loss was $67.
  • An accidental shooting occurred in the 900 block of Bendix Drive at 2:15 a.m. on Dec. 4.
  • Jhoem Job Salazar, 25, was charged with impaired driving on Dec. 2.
  • River Kyle Lowe, 24, was charged with impaired driving on Dec. 2.
  • John Michael Sheehan, 42, was charged with second-degree trespassing on Dec. 3.
  • Laknesha Jael Mccorkle, 28, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance on Dec. 3.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A larceny occurred in the 200 block of Askin Lane between noon on Nov. 1 and noon on Nov. 30. It was reported on Dec. 1. Police reports indicate the stolen property was firearms and the total estimated loss was $349.
  • A weapon was found on the Hanford-Dole Elementary School grounds on Nov. 30. The weapon was a B.B. gun found in a student’s backpack, according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson.
  • Vandalism occurred at Honeycutt Road in Salisbury between 10 a.m. on Nov. 21 and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 30.
  • A burglary occurred at Organ Trail in Salisbury between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 27. It was reported on Dec. 1.
  • Shoplifting occurred at Tingle Drive in Salisbury at 7:01 p.m. on Dec. 2.
  • Suzanne Shereese Gillam, 29, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance on Nov. 30.
  • Malik Quiontre Edwards, 26, was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and forgery of instruments on Nov. 30.
  • Cateesha Henderson, 51, was charged with communicating threats and second-degree trespassing on Nov. 30.
  • Wilson Josue Espinal-Flores, 19, was charged with driving while his license was revoked, failing to maintain lane control and resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on Nov. 30.
  • Christopher Aaron Rudd, 23, was charged with a probation violation on Dec. 1.
  • Lamin Conteh, 30, was charged with possession of up to 0.5 ounces of marijuana on Dec. 1.
  • Kimberly Dawn Lunsford, 46, was charged with felony breaking and entering of a building and larceny after breaking and entering on Dec. 1.
  • Jeffery Wayne Galloway Jr., 39, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on Dec. 2. Police reports indicate that the charge stems from a domestic incident.
