SALISBURY — Dads hoping to capture special memories with their daughters will have the chance to do so thanks to two upcoming events.

Registration for the Salisbury Father Daughter Dance officially opens Tuesday, Jan. 2.

The event will take place at the Salisbury Civic Center, located at 315 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Salisbury on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. It will run until 9 p.m.

The cost is $11 per ticket, per participant.

Meanwhile, those interested can also now sign up for Kannapolis’ Daddy/Daughter Winter Ball.

It will be held at the Laureate Center in Kannapolis City Hall on Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. City Hall is located at 301 Laureate Way in Kannapolis.

The event is for dads and daughters to have a special evening out together. Girls, ages 5 and older, are encouraged to bring their father, step-father, grandfather, brother or another special gentleman in their life. The attire ranges from dressy to casual, so suits with ties and khakis with polos are acceptable.

Tickets are $50 per couple, and $20 for each additional daughter. Ticket price includes light hors d’oeuvres, princess meet and greet, entertainment, dancing, and a photo booth.
