SPENCER — The Spencer Doll And Toy Museum is celebrating its one-year anniversary with free admission all day and birthday cake Saturday afternoon.
The museum will serve refreshments from 1 to 4 p.m. at 108 Fourth St., with Mother Goose on hand for fun. Raffled gift baskets include spa products, dolls, bears, toys, puzzles, coffee and more.
Susan Morris and daughter Beth Morris Nance founded the nonprofit museum and said the permanent collection has grown in their first year, with donations from as far away as Texas and Florida. Education and preservation are a key focus.
