In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 1000 block of Klumac Road between 6 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 16.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Roberts Street between 9 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. The total estimated loss was $990.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 700 block of Cherry Street between 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 4:19 p.m. and on Jan. 16.
  • A larceny occurred in the 2200 block of Statesville Boulevard at 10:51 p.m. on Jan. 16. The total estimated loss was $23.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s office reports:

  • Vandalism occurred at Happy Hollow Road in Rockwell between 5 p.m. on Jan. 14 and 9:50 a.m. on Jan. 15.
  • Erin Lynne Carter, 36, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon or assault inflicting serious injury on an officer on Jan. 15.
  • William Edward Lowery, 57, was charged with embezzling or diverting a controlled substance as a registrant or employee on Jan. 15.
  • Tyler James Gransbury, 31, was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and larceny on Jan. 15.
