Today the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit completed an investigation into illegal drug sales at 107 W. Pinetree Drive, East Spencer.
Over the course of the last month, undercover detectives reported they were able to make undercover purchases of crack cocaine from the people living at the address.
Three people face numerous felony and misdemeanor charges.
Today, detectives with SIU, with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at the home. During the search, detectives seized a small quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana. Detectives also seized several bags of prescription pain pills that were packaged for sale.
In May 2011, Sheriff SRT and SIU executed three search warrants at this residence and two other residences on Pinetree Drive that resulted in several arrests. In the 2011 raids, another Stallings brother, Samuel Lee Stallings, 48, was charged with selling crack cocaine.
Those charged today include:
• Marcus Dale Stallings, 51, 107 W. Pinetree Drive, East Spencer, charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony sell and deliver cocaine, felony trafficking in opium, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell controlled substance; felony conspiracy to sell and deliver controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $500,000.
• Candas Michelle Turley, 26, 107 W. Pinetree Drive, East Spencer, charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony sell and deliver cocaine, felony trafficking in opium, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell controlled substance; felony conspiracy to sell and deliver controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $500,000.
• Anthony O’Neal Stallings, 52, 513 N. Shaver St., East Spencer, charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, two charges of misdemeanor failure to appear in court, misdemeanor probation violation. Bond was set at $25,000.
