Bus drivers of the month
Rowan-Salisbury Schools Director of Transportation Judy Burris has recognized the following employees for exemplary service as bus drivers for February. A bus driver must adhere to all the duties and responsibilities set forth by the Rowan-Salisbury Schools Transportation Department and are nominated by their bus coordinator for this honor each month.

Chowan president’s list
John Lohman of Salisbury has been named to the president’s list at Chowan University. President’s list winners are full-time students who have accomplished a grade point average of 3.8 or better for the semester.
Georgia Tech honors
Joshua Price of Salisbury earned the distinction of faculty honors for fall 2011 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Undergraduate students earning a 4.0 academic average for the semester gain the distinction of faculty honors.
