SALISBURY — Four Salisbury High students were arrested Wednesday morning after Salisbury Police said they broke into a warehouse.
Officers responded to reports of a break-in at 106 Vance Ave., a warehouse for Salisbury Marble and Granite, according to a Salisbury Police report.
When a Salisbury officer opened the door and told the four teenagers to stop, three fled on foot through a rear entrance where additional officers were waiting.
Authorities charged 16-year-old Edward Eugene Whitner Jr., of 200 W. Lafayette St.; 17-year-old Taleem Lee, of 627 W. Liberty St.; and 18-year-old Frederick Andrew Hargon, of 2611 Foxfire Drive, with misdemeanor breaking and entering and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer.
Shey’la Brown, of 714 Victory St., did not flee and was only charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.
Lee was given a $500 bond and was in jail Thursday morning.
The other three were released to their parents at the magistrate’s office.
