College indoor track: Lowery wins mile at South Region NCAA Final Qualifier

WINCHESTER, Va. — Pfeiffer senior Madison Lowery (South Rowan) won the mile run in the D-III South Region NCAA Final Qualifier.
Lowery ran 5:10,
Katleyn Lentz (West Rowan) finished third in the women’s 400 meters in 1:04.39.
Andrew Huffman (Salisbury) finished third in the men’s 400 in 52.35 seconds.
Trent Rivers (South Rowan) was fifth in the men’s mile in 4:38.
Pfeiffer’s Sawyer Helms won the men’s mile in 4:27.
