SALISBURY — A 21-year-old woman was held to the ground and robbed at a Salisbury intersection Saturday evening.
According to a Salisbury Police report, the woman was on her way home from a friend’s house about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Military and Railroad streets when she was attacked.
The woman told police she heard a man’s voice and turned around.
Two men, both dressed in black hoodies with black bandanas covering their faces, rushed her, knocking her to the ground, the report said. One of the men then put their knee on her back and held her to the ground as they searched her pockets.
As they robbed her, police said, a woman stood in the road and served “as a watch out.” They took $40.
Salisbury Police said they have a suspect in the robbery and are continuing to investigate.
