MOUNT ULLA — North Iredell scored four runs in the seventh inning and rallied to beat West Rowan 7-5 on Monday.

West (1-2) trailed the non-conference game 2-0 early, but the Falcons scored five runs in the fourth inning. EA Nance did most of the damage with a grand slam. Ella Doby had the other RBI.

West led 5-3 going to the seventh, but couldn’t finish it.

Dilynn Norris hit a homer for North Iredell (2-3).

Nance and Reese Poole had two hits for the Falcons.

In the circle, Arabelle Shulenberger struck out eight and walked two.

West Rowan won a 1-0 game at home against West Forsyth on Friday.

Shulenberger pitched a shutout, striking out eight and walking one.

Taylor Kelelr scored the only run of the game in the bottom of the seventh when Maggie Leichman walked with the bases loaded.
