SALISBURY — A 22-year-old man was in jail Tuesday after deputies said he molested a neighbor’s daughter in 2008 and 2009.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, Christopher Shawn Faile, of 713 Partee St., was arrested Monday evening and charged with two counts of felony indecent liberties with children.
Officers said the incidents happened when Faile was 18 and lived somewhere else. The victim was then 9 and 10 years old.
Authorities were notified in November after a Department of Social Services referral.
Faile remained in jail Tuesday under a $50,000 bond.
