LEXINGTON — Lexington only had four players on Monday, so Salisbury’s boys tennis team received walk-overs at No. 5 and No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Salisbury also won all the contested matches to take a 9-0 Central Carolina Conference victory.
AJ Jarrell, Gray Davis, Bryant Davis and Reid Hlavacek were winners for the Hornets (6-0, 4-0). Sayer Cornelison and Bo Lawson were credited with the forfeits.
The Hornets (6-0, 4-0) have sailed along so far under new coach Roarke Burton, who guided the girls last fall.
Salisbury opened with a 7-2 non-conference win against North Stanly, losing the matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
Since then, the Hornets have run off a string of 9-0 positive outcomes against North Davidson and CCC opponents South Davidson, West Davidson, East Davidson and Lexington.
Salisbury is scheduled to play North Rowan on Thursday.
