SALISBURY — To usher in spring with some style, Salisbury is putting on “Ring in Spring” on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Due to a chance of rain, Downtown Salisbury Inc. Events Coordinator Latoya Price said she will post on social media and DSI’s website on Friday, March 22, at 9:30 a.m. if the event will take place outdoors at Bell Tower Green or indoors at the city hall building located at South Main Street.
The following activities are subject to change because of the potential weather conditions.
There will be music by DJ Neak, juggling, games, free e-bike test rides thanks to Skinny Wheels, and free hayrides.
Free Easter baskets filled with crafts and toys will be on hand and kids can even get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a downtown egg hunt with 26 local businesses getting in on the fun.
All baskets and crafts are first come first served. Mollie’s Minis, Jacob & Mabrey and Mean Mug are going to have food trucks on site.
Also on Saturday, Local Focal is hosting its second annual “Springfest” with 40 pop-up vendors participating.
If “Ring in Spring” does take place outdoors, South Church Street and West Fisher Street, the section across from the library, will be closed off.
