The Salisbury branch of the English Speaking Union will host a dinner program at the Country Club of Salisbury on Thursday, March 8, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Vicki Leon (www.vickileon.com/Home.html), author of 35 books, many detailing interesting women throughout history.
The evening’s program is titled “Working 9 to 5,” about 150 fascinating jobs held by everyday men and women 2,000 years ago in the ancient Greek and Roman worlds.
The program, including dinner, is $28, and nonmembers are welcome.
