SALISBURY — The Rowan Chamber of Commerce announced that the next Power In Partnership (PIP) speaker will be Dr. Jonathan Fisher. The title of his speech is “A Cardiologist’s Guide to Healing, Health and Happiness.”

Jonathan Fisher, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist, certified mindfulness teacher, and well-being and resiliency leader at Novant Health, supporting a team of 38,000. He is also the founder of Mind Heart Now LLC, delivering keynotes and workshops on mindfulness, stress mastery, total well-being and heart-centered leadership for teams and organizations globally including IBM, Bank of America, IE Business School (Madrid), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and others.

The breakfast event will take place on Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 a.m., at Trinity Oaks, located at 728 Klumac Road, Salisbury.

The April PIP sponsor is Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

The last PIP of this season is on May 16 and features the Leadership Rowan graduation with noted leadership speaker Men Tchaas Ari from Charlotte. We will take a break for the summer and resume the PIP season in September 2024 – May 2025.

The chamber’s Power Card will once again be offered for those who would like to take advantage of the PIP frequent attender program. Power Card holders receive a discounted price for the series and do not have to make a reservation each month.

The chamber’s breakfast programs average more than 120 attendees each month. Sponsors will have the exclusive marketing rights to the banquet room and provide a five-minute sponsor profile on their company. Partner agencies will share updates with the local business leaders and address issues of concern for the entire region. The Leadership Rowan Class will start its day at the breakfast and then venture out for each day’s session focused on a different aspect of the community.

If you are not a Power Card holder, individual reservations are welcome; however, the reservation deadline is Tuesday, April 16, by 5 p.m. The cost is $20 for members and $40 for non-members.
