CONCORD — East Rowan won Tuesday’s nine-hole South Piedmont Conference match at Rocky River.

East shot 154 to beat Northwest Cabarrus by six shots.

Next were Lake Norman Charter (169), West Rowan (182), Carson (189), South Rowan (203), Robinson (210), Central Cabarrus (218) and Concord (233).

Landon Merrell shot 34 to lead the Mustangs. Jaden Sprinkle and Brady McIntyre shot 36. Mason Mainville and Austin Tucker shot 48s.

Northwest’s Cooper Burris was medalist with a 33. Talan Harrison shot 36.

Carson’s Jacob Rockwell (40) and West Rowan’s Tyler Kepley (42) made the leaderboard.
