SALISBURY — North Hills Christian School senior basketball player Champion Hayden was selected to the Southern Piedmont Athletic Association all-conference first team and to the NCISAA 1A All-State team.

Hayden broke records at North Hills for points in a career and a season.

Hayden averaged 31.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game this season.

He’s currently playing baseball for North Hills and is batting .444 with a team-leading 11 RBIs in 13 games.
