• An assault occurred in the 100 block of East Innes Street at noon on May 4. It was reported on May 6.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A larceny occurred at North Main Street in China Grove between 5:30 p.m. on May 4 and 9:08 a.m. on May 5.
• Walter Lane Link, 60, was charged with a violation of a county ordinance on May 5.
• Emily Ann Lambert, 41 was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine on May 5.
• Gregory Shawn Terry, 49, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering of a building on May 5.
