MISENHEIMER — Pfeiffer’s softball team won 4-2 and 3-1 against Greensboro College on Friday to take the USA South Tournament.

Kali Morton, a Mooresville High graduate who starred for Rowan Little League’s 2015 World Series champs, is 23-1 with an 0.81 ERA.

The 5-foot-5 senior transferred to Pfeiffer from Erskine prior to her junior season and was a third team All-America last year.

Next for coach Monte Sherrill’s Falcons, who are 43-2, is NCAA Regional action. That will begin for the Falcons at a site to be announced on May 16.
