Hall 50th Anniversary

Ronald E. Hall and Eliza Green Hall of Selma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 18, 2012. The Halls were married March 18, 1962, at Oakdale Baptist Church in Spencer by the Rev. H.M. Hocutt. Eliza had served as the church secretary at Oakdale from 1960-1962.
Ronald served in the U.S. Navy, and following his discharge in 1966, he began working at IBM in Research Triangle Park. He retired from IBM in 1991. Eliza is a homemaker.
The Halls have four children, John (Teresa) Hall of Burnie, Tasmania, Rhonda H. Ross of Daytona Beach, Fla., Jennifer H. (Barry) Pope of Selma and Albert Hall of Selma.
They have six grandchildren and are expecting their first great-grandchild in September.
The couple’s children and their families will gather at the Hall home in Selma in June to continue the celebration.
