Patterson – Williams
KANNAPOLIS — Ashley Renee Patterson of Woodstock, Ga., and Steven Charles Williams of Kennesaw, Ga., were united in marriage March 24, 2012, at North Kannapolis Wesleyan Church.
Rev. Steven Cline and the Rev. Trent Patterson officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception featuring a four layer cake made by the bride’s grandparents and a candy bar filled with a delicious variety of sweet treats.
The bride was escorted by her father, Rev. Trent Patterson. She was attired in a beautiful strapless, white gown with an all-over organza draped pick-up with beaded lace empire and featured a lace-up back with a chapel train. She carried a white rose bouquet.
Serving as maid of honor was Sierra Litaker, and matron of honor was sister of the bride Aprille Gemes, both of Troutman. Flower girl was niece of the bride Sarah Gemes of Troutman.
The groom chose Jonathan Farrow as his best man and Derek Buffardi as groomsman, both of Kennesaw, Ga.
Guest registrars were cousins of the bride Bailey Patterson and Paige Turbeville. Teena Turbeville, aunt of the bride, was wedding director. Cousin of the bride Kayla Noblitt was soloist for the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Trent and Wanette Patterson of Troutman; the granddaughter of David and Linda Leonard of China Grove, Barbara and George Clemons of Concord and Charles C. Patterson of Richfield; and the great-granddaughter of Esther Patterson of Salisbury and Inez K. Goodson of Kannapolis. A 2009 graduate of South Iredell High School in Statesville, Ashley is studying Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga.
