KANNAPOLIS — Join in on Monday, May 27, for a Memorial Day event at Veterans Park on Main Street in Kannapolis. A veterans parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street followed by a Memorial Day program at noon in Veterans Park. The keynote speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Josh White, U.S. Army National Guard chaplain. The ceremony will also include special music performances.

The event is hosted by the Beaver-Pittman American Legion Post 115, the Poston-Perkins Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8989, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
