SALISBURY — Earlier this month, three Rowan-Salisbury School System graduates paid a visit to the teacher that launched their academic careers.

Lillian Trail, Kara Roberson and Gracye Pittman went to Hurley Elementary School in their cap and gowns to surprise their kindergarten teacher Kelly Hain and her assistant Kim Bowden.

The trio were in the same class up to the 4th grade.

During the visit, Hain read the Dr. Seuss classic, “Oh The Places You Will Go.”
