KANNAPOLIS — A.L. Brown rising senior CJ Gray made the All-Greater Metro Conference team for baseball.

Gray committed to NC State baseball when he was a sophomore, but it looks like the pitcher/shortstop may have decisions to make before Signing Day, as he continues to grow (6-2, 200 pounds).

Gray, the son of former Livingstone football player Charles Gray, is also the Wonders’ football quarterback and he is getting Division I offers in that sport. Charlotte, Eastern Kentucky and Liberty have made football offers, and Gray made a recent visit to Virginia.

The top GMC baseball honors went to Player of the Year Bowen Powell (Hickory Ridge), Pitcher of the Year Jackson Caldwell (Cox Mill) and Coach of the Year Grayson Butler (Cox Mill).
