Blotter for June 5: Salisbury woman stabbed

SALISBURY — A Salisbury woman sustained a knife wound early Monday morning which prompted a visit from the police department. 

According to reports from the Salisbury Police Department, the female victim was assaulted near a gas station in the 2200 block of Statesville Boulevard. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 a.m.

While the attack reportedly occurred around 2 a.m., the call to law enforcement was not made until the following morning. In the interim, the female victim reportedly made her way to a nearby apartment complex where they reportedly spent the night.

The resident of the apartment contacted 911 the next morning upon waking and discovering the severity of the victim’s wound which was described in reports as a knife wound on the left side of her chest. 

The victim was unable to identify her assailant and ultimately became “uncooperative” with law enforcement, according to reports. At this time, no arrests have been made. The story will be updated if more information becomes available.

• Vandalism reportedly occurred in the 500 block of Lash Drive in Salisbury between 6:15-6:20 p.m. on June 3.

• Larceny reportedly occurred in the 1500 block of Jake Alexander Blvd. S. in Salisbury between 1:30-1:35 a.m. on June 4.

• Sandra Nicole Lee, 37, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on June 3.

• Rolando J. Camacho, 43, was charged with injury to personal property on June 3.

• Herman Donald Floyd, 43, was charged with assault on a female by male over 18 years of age on June 3.
