SALISBURY — The Rowan County Senior Democrats are holding a meeting on Tuesday, June 18, to discuss The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. at party headquarters, located at 504 W. Innes St. in Salisbury.

Project 2025, also called the Presidential Transition Project, was written by The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based out of Washington, D.C., and is a collection of policy proposals that are aimed at a Republican presidency.

Evelyn Uddin-Kahn and Geoffrey Hoy will lead the talk and discussion about Project 2025.

Unaffiliated voters are also invited to the meetings if they lean towards the progressive side of the political spectrum, according to the party’s website.

For those who cannot make the meeting on Tuesday, the Democrats also plan to post more information about the Project 2025 discussion on their website, rowancountydemocrats.com, as well as the original document.
