In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• Vandalism occurred in the 600 block of Forney Street at 2:25 a.m. on June 14.
• Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 900 block of East Lafayette Street between 4 p.m. on June 13 and 3:08 p.m. on June 14.
• A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 1000 block of Freeland Drive between 2:30 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. on June 15. The total estimated loss was $300.
• Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 11:15 a.m. on June 15. The total estimated loss was $154.
• Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 11 p.m. on June 15. The total estimated loss was $55.
• A larceny occurred in the 100 block of West Miller Street between 8 p.m. on June 15 and 10:35 a.m. on June 16. The total estimated loss was $100.
• Possession of marijuana occurred in the 400 block of Morlan Park Road at 2:10 p.m. on June 16.
• Shoplifting occurred in the 200 block of Faith Road at 7:30 p.m. on June 16. The total estimated loss was $6.
• Miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 100 block of South Milford Drive at 9 p.m. on June 16.
• Makayla Tapanga Young, 22, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance on June 14.
• Dalton Majeed Khan, 27, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance on June 16.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• Possession of stolen property occurred at Grady Street at 12:50 a.m. on June 14.
• Damage to a county-owned motor vehicle occurred at Grady Street at 12:50 a.m. on June 14.
• Fraud by false pretenses occurred at Clark Road between 1 p.m. on May 22 and 3:04 p.m. on June 4. It was reported on June 14.
• An assault with hands, feet or fists occurred in the 200 block of Front Creek Road at 4:30 a.m. on June 14.
• Jaylen Patterson, 19, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer; misdemeanor possession of up to half an ounce of marijuana; misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia; two counts of felony possession of a stolen firearm; and two counts of misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.
• Warren Jomontia Slan, 39, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female on June 15.
• Jacob Ryan Wood, 26, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute on June 15.
• Andrew Lee Vernon, 29, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on June 15.
• Matthew Christopher Forney, 47, was charged with misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule III controlled substances, and two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance on the premises of a penal institution.
• Sherman William Moss, 59, was charged with misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance and simple possession of schedule III controlled substances on June 16.
• Matthew Scott Honeycutt, 32, was charged with felony assault by strangulation on June 16.
