ROCKY MOUNT — Rowan Little League’s 11U softball all-stars won the state championship on Wednesday.
Rowan overcame an 8-1 deficit.
Rowan scored six runs in the fifth. Then Jade Webb’s walk-off double in the sixth won it, 9-8.
Next is a trip to Clarksville, Tenn., for the Southeast Region Tournament of State Champions.
