Little League softball: Rowan 12U wins regional game, plays Monday A.M.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Rowan Little League is representing North Carolina in the Southeast Regional.
The SE Regional is held in Warner Robins, Ga., from July 21-26. The SE Regional winner advances to the World Series.
Teams entered in the regional are Rowan, Lake Mary, Fla., Harris County, Ga., Taylors, SC, Clarksville, Tenn., McLean, Va., and Huntington, W. Va.
Games are streamed on ESPN+.
Rowan scored seven runs in the first inning and romped 12-0 on Sunday against the Georgia champs.
Bristol Smith pitched a two-hitter.
Rowan is back in action on Monday morning against Tennessee,as Tennessee plays its first game in the tournament.
Florida and Virginia had impressive first-round wins.
The Rowan 12U team includes Evee Baxter, Harper Deal, Megan Linebarger, Mak Melchor, Peyton Mulkey, Mary Kate Okula, Ashlynn Pfister, Leniyah Ratcliffe, Khloe Ratliff, Tenley Shell, Jaycee Small, Bristol Smith and Emory Stewart.
Brett Mulkey is the manager. Coaches are Jac Mulkey and Jeff Bernhardt.
