Track and field: Rowan Express results from AAU Junior Olympics

GREENSBORO — The second week of the AAU Junior Olympic Games at North Carolina A&T University put 12,000 young track and field athletes in the spotlight for nationa-level competition.

The opening ceremonies — The Celebration of Athletes — were held on July 29.

Competition concluded on Aug. 3.

Bralin Ellis, competing in the shot put for the Rowan Express in the 13-year-old division, had a throw of 41 feet for fifth place and All-America honors.
