MISENHEIMER — East Rowan’s volleyball team won 25-21, 20-25, 25-14 and 25-14 on Thursday at Gray Stone Day.

Jacee Eudy had 45 assists and has surpassed 1,000 for her career. Eudy also had nine kills and four aces.

Alli Corl had a dominant match for the Mustangs (11-4) with 21 kills, three blocks and 18 digs.

Cameron Ostle had 11 kills and 15 digs. Madalynn Tigert had 10 digs.

Jordan Dry had 32 digs and handled serve receive 30 times.

LANDIS — North Iredell is always strong in volleyball and swept South Rowan 25-18, 25-20 and 25-17 on Thursday.

Meghan Eagle had six kills, 18 digs and 12 assists for the Raiders (7-2) in the non-conference match. Raegan Shell had nine assists and six digs. Campbell Withers had 15 digs. Meredith Faw had seven kills and 19 digs. Avery Fisher had 17 digs. Clancy Street had seven digs.

NEW LONDON — Carson (8-4) won again on Thursday, taking a hard-fought 3-1 non-conference victory at North Stanly.

SPENCER — In the Central Carolina Conference, North Rowan was a 3-1 winner against Thomasville on Thursday for the Cavaliers’ first win of the season.
