Man stabbed several times after argument overnight

SALISBURY — A 29-year-old man was stabbed several times in the back following a disagreement just after midnight according to Salisbury police. The victim was taken by ambulance to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem where he is listed as stable, officials said. The incident happened near Cedar Street and Park Avenue about 12:30 a.m. No one has yet been arrested.

• A theft of a truck from Motts Powersports, Inc on Butler Street reportedly occurred between 4 a.m. Sept. 3 and 3:05 p.m. Sept. 5.
• A larceny from Vie Siding Solutions Co. on Player Court reportedly occurred between 7 p.m. Aug. 11 and 8 a.m. Aug. 12. Total estimated loss was $347.
• A larceny from a property on Mooresville Road reportedly occurred between noon Aug. 25 and noon Sept. 3. The total estimated loss was $30.
• A larceny from a property on Wildwood Drive reportedly occurred between 10 a.m. Aug. 30 and 7:10 p.m. Sept. 5. The total estimated loss was $330.
• A larceny from a motor vehicle on North Fulton Street reportedly occurred between 8 p.m. Sept. 4 and 7 a.m. Sept. 5. The total estimated loss was $300.
• Jamel Antoine Nance, 41, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
• Taylor Ray Liles, 27, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises.
• Demone Lamont Evans, 39, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises.
• Jermaine Chrishaun Brown, 40, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises.
• Eric Scott Morrow, 33, was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises.
Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• A theft of a truck from Statesville Boulevard, Cleveland reportedly occurred between noon Oct. 1, 2021, and noon July 15, 2024. The theft was reported Sept. 4.
• A larceny from a property on Zion Church Road, Gold Hill reportedly occurred between 1:26 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Sept. 4.
• A larceny from a property on Preston Ridge Lane, Rockwell reportedly occurred between 4 p.m. Aug. 20 and 5 p.m. Aug. 31. The theft was reported Sept. 4.
• Property damage due to vandalism to a property on Woodleaf Road reportedly occurred about 3:10 p.m. Sept. 4.
• Calvin Demetric Ellison, 55, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with larceny.
• Gabriel Adan Estrada, 20, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was held on a $100,000 bond.
• Gannon William Chambers, 38, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with second-degree trespassing.
• Jessica Chambers, 36, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with second-degree trespassing.
