High school volleyball roundup: East, South win SPC matches

CONCORD — East Rowan swept Central Cabarrus in South Piedmont Conference volleyball on Wednesday.

Cameorn Ostle (16), Alli Corl (15) and Leigan Lusk (12) piled up kills for the Mustangs (15-6, 8-3). Jacee Eudy had 35 assists.

Ava Corl had thee aces. Kady Collins and Eudy combined on three blocks.

Jordan Dry had 23 digs and was the key Mustang on serve receive. Ostle had 10 digs.

CONCORD — South Rowan stayed tied for third with East Rowan by pounding Concord 25-10, 25-12 and 25-5 on Wednesday.

The Raiders (11-4, 8-3) got six kills from Clancy Street and four each from Laney Beaver and Meghan Eagle.

Meredith Faw had nine digs. Eagle had seven, while Campbell Withers and Raegan Shell had six.

Eagle had 10 assists. Shell had six.

Undefeated Lake Norman swept Robinson on Wednesday to stay one game ahead of Carson in the SPC. The Cougars kept pace with the Knights by sweeping West Rowan.
