KANNAPOLIS — Fiber internet provider Kinetic, a local leader in residential and small business high-speed internet, will host its first Community Appreciation Night on Oct. 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers’ Atrium Health Ballpark. This community appreciation event is open to the public and will include free activities, food and fireworks for all ages.
Customers and community members across Concord, China Grove, Landis, Kannapolis and Salisbury are invited to join and can expect a variety of activities and treats throughout the night. Food will be available with complimentary entrees, sides and drinks provided through vouchers to the first 500 attendees. Additional food for purchase from the ballpark will be available at the third-baseline concessions.
“Customer Appreciation Night is a special occasion for us to celebrate and connect with our community and local employees,” said Stacy Hale, president of Kinetic’s North Carolina operations. “We’re thrilled to spend an evening with our community and wanted to express our gratitude for everyone who has supported us.”
A highlight of the evening will be the fireworks display at 8 p.m., adding a touch of magic to the celebration.
“We’re proud to partner with our local baseball team, the Cannon Ballers, to host this event,” said Sarah Hardin, Kinetic’s vice president of government affairs in North Carolina. “We hope to see as many folks as we can to spend a fun and free evening at the ballpark.”
Attendees are welcome to arrive any time before the end of the community event at 8:30 p.m., when the fireworks show will conclude. Kinetic also encourages all participants to follow and tag @GoKineticHomeCarolinas in social media posts made during and following the evenings’ activities.
“It is wonderful to see local businesses giving back to the community in such a meaningful way,” said North Carolina State Rep. Kevin Crutchfield (R). “I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this fantastic event.”
The event is open to everyone, and no prior registration is necessary. For the comfort and safety of all attendees, only service animals are permitted for this event.
