HS VOLLEYBALL
GRANITE QUARRY — East Rowan won a five-set South Piedmont Conference match with South Rowan on Tuesday as the teams battled in a “Volley for the Cure” game in the East gym.
The Mustangs (17-7, 9-4) prevailed 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 24-26 and 17-15 and finished a regular-sweep of the Raiders.
Cameron Ostle had 20 kills, five aces and 31 digs for the Mustangs.
Leigan Lusk had 15 kills. Alli Corl had 15 kills and 35 digs.
Jordan Dry had 28 digs and handled serve-receive 51 times.
Jacee Eudy had 21 digs and 54 assists. Madalynn Tigert had 16 digs.
Campbell Withers had 33 digs for South. Meredith Faw had 22 digs and 10 kills. Laney Beaver had eight kills, 24 digs and 19 assists. Avery Fisher had 15 digs. Clancy Street had 13 digs and 16 digs. Meghan Eagle had 16 digs and 13 assists for the Raiders (14-5, 10-4).
• South’s jayvees (12-7, 8-6) won 25-19 and 25-5. Nora Wheeler had four kills for the Raiders. Makenna Jones had three kills and eight assists. Makenna Barham had 10 kills. Remi Hagerty had seven digs. Aubree Knight had six assists.

SALISBURY — Salisbury won 21-25, 25-19, 25-14 and 25-21 against East Davidson on Tuesday in Central Carolina Conference action.
Ashley Yang had 35 assists, 23 digs and five kills for the Hornets (8-7, 7-2).
Ava Morris had 13 kills and 18 digs.
Addie Myers had 16 digs. Kyliah Pearson-Hasty had 12 digs.
Kendall Henderson had 10 kills. Carmen McQueen had eight.
HS GIRLS TENNIS
CONCORD — West Rowan won 8-1 at Central Cabarrus on Tuesday in South Piedmont Conference girls tennis.
The Falcons (12-4) got singles wins from Emma Crider, Olyvia Brown, Lucy Moore, Ally Suggs and Laney Moore.
Autumn Yount lost on a third-set ti9ebreaker at No. 1 singles, but came back to win at No. 1 doubles, with Crider.
Brown/Suggs and the Moores cruised to doubles victories.
HS BOYS SOCCER
MOUNT ULLA — Carson won 3-0 at West Rowan on Tuesday in South Piedmont Conference soccer.
Anthony Medina Beckham, Carlos Moctezuma and Daniel Alvarez scored for the Cougars.
Assists were by Kevin Delgado and Diego Vega.
The clean sheet was shared by Delgado and Adam Gardner.
