Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Property damage to a vehicle from vandalism at a property on Wakefield Drive was reported at 2:55 p.m. Oct. 8.

• Damage to a county vehicle on West Ridge Drive was reported at 4:38 p.m. Oct. 8.

• A larceny of a property on White Rock Avenue reportedly occurred between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 8.

• Walter Ronald Pruitt, 72, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with driving while impaired. 

• Caleb Ray Rymer, 23, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer.

• Marvin Danon Gibson, 46, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with obtaining property by false pretense, financial transaction card fraud, and exploit disabled/elder trust.

• Alex Welsey Sadler, 28, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with assault on a female and failure to appear.

• Property damage from a hit and run on South Avalon Street reportedly occurred between 1:37 and 2:04 p.m Oct. 6.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Park Avenue was reported at 4 p.m. Oct. 6.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Freeland Drive was reported at 4:07 p.m. Oct. 6.

• A larceny from a property on Jake Alexander Boulevard South was reported at 5:10 p.m. Oct. 6.

• A burglary on West 15th Street reportedly occurred between 5 and 6 p.m. Oct. 6.

• Property damage to a property on Tabernacle Street was reported at 10 p.m. Oct. 6.

• Robbery with a firearm on North Long Street reportedly occurred between 10 and 11:14 p.m. Oct. 6.

• A motor vehicle theft on Oakmont Court reportedly occurred between 5 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 7.

• Joshua Samuel Billingslea, 29, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.

• David Rosario Bernechea, 45, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering a building and misdemeanor sexual battery.

• Angela Michelle Hamilton, 35, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay an officer and misdemeanor larceny.

• Jamyia Shabre White, 29, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury.

• Cajuan Ali Thomas, 40, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with injury to personal property.

• Phyllis Ann Sifford Charleston, 72, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon or assault inflicting serious injury, and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

• Daniel Davis Canaday, 37, was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of an officer, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.
