Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An illegal dump site was located on Hobby Farm Lane and Carter Loop Road in Rockwell at 11:19 a.m. Oct. 15.

• A larceny on Mt. Vernon Road, Woodleaf reportedly occurred at 11:05 a.m. Oct. 15.

• An assault on West Liberty Street reportedly occurred between 3:35 p.m. Oct. 14 and 12:49 p.m. Oct. 15.

• A larceny from a building on Hannah Ferry Road was reported at 5:34 p.m. Oct. 15.

• A larceny from a property on N.C. Hwy. 801, Mt. Ulla reportedly occurred between 10:33 a.m. Oct. 14 and 6:33 p.m. Oct. 15. 

• Olivia Patrice-Chante Miller, 43, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with felony flee to elude, speeding, reckless driving, misuse of 911 emergency telephone system, failure to stop at stoplight and possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises. 

• Wendy Lynn Shutt, 41, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with violation of probation.

• Nazir Cartell Lowe, 19, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with simple assault.

• Marcellus Anque Steele, 22, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with simple assault.

• Angela Rose Pennington, 44, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with solid waste ordinance violation and cruelty to animals.

• Craig Klotz, 45, was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with solid waste ordinance violation and cruelty to animals.

Salisbury Police reports

• A motor vehicle theft from Emerson Lane reportedly occurred at 12:05 a.m. Oct. 11.

• The theft of a motor vehicle from Castlewood Drive reportedly occurred between 1 and 7 a.m. Oct. 11.

• Shooting into an occupied property on South Ellis Street reportedly occurred at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 11.

• Vandalism at a property on Faith Road reportedly occurred between 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and noon Oct. 6. The incident was reported Oct. 11.

• Joshua Deon Howard, 38, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with second-degree trespassing and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.

• George Lorenzo Gilmore, 24, was arrested Oct. 11 and charged with misdemeanor impaired driving.
