BUIES CREEK — North Hills junior Reese Merrell finished 13th in the NCISAA Division II State Championships played at Keith Hills on Monday and Tuesday.
Merrell shot 87 and 89.
She was 10th after that first-round 87.
Merrell has qualified for the state championships three straight years. She is coached by her father Les Merrell.
