Note to readers: Our Thanksgiving edition will be delivered Wednesday.

As people prepare for a week of fellowship and food with friends and family, we here at the Salisbury Post want to wish them all a Happy Thanksgiving. We also want to take this time to update you on our modified Thanksgiving publication schedule.

Since the newspaper converted to by-mail delivery, we rely on the U.S. Post Office’s to get you your newspapers.

Since Thursday is a typical delivery day and the USPS will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving, we will be printing the Nov. 28 edition early this week. Those newspapers will go out to our subscribers and hit our newsstands on Wednesday. Sunday’s edition will be delivered on its regular schedule.

This modified delivery will also impact publication of our electronic edition. We will not be publishing a Wednesday e-edition, since the Thursday print edition will be available online at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. There will not be a Friday e-edition either, since the newspaper will be closed on Thursday.

We are grateful to each and everyone of our readers. Your support means the world to us and we look forward to resuming our normal news schedule after the holiday.

Your editor,

Chandler Inions
