Shooting sends one to hospital Sunday night

KANNAPOLIS — About 9 p.m. Sunday, Kannapolis police received a call reporting a shooting in the 2400 block of South Ridge Avenue.
According to reports, one male resident of the home was shot and taken to Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord with serious injuries.
Police say the incident is an isolated incident, posing no threat to the community, but it remains under investigation.
