SALISBURY — The Rowan County Board of Commissioners rescheduled the upcoming meeting to Tuesday in order to avoid conflict with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The meeting will still be held at the typical time of 6 p.m. and at its typical location.

The meeting will be held at the Rowan County Administration building located at 130 W. Innes St. in Salisbury. The agenda items that will be discussed include:

  • The commissioners will receive an update on the county’s Charter Spectrum broadband deployments, being performed under the Rural Development Opportunity Fund and N.C. GREAT Grants. The county has been running programs for years to expand broadband access to the more rural areas of the county, with recent expansions focusing on the western areas in 2022 or the southern areas in 2023.
