Woodburn – Gales

Tara Marie Woodburn and Seth Graham Gales were united in marriage Saturday, May 19, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Salisbury.  The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Lance officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at The Salisbury Depot.
The bride was escorted by her father, Mark B. Woodburn, and attended by Angie Campbell of Mocksville as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids were Lauren Hood of Mount Ulla, Shannon Carter of Salisbury, Hope Riley of Salisbury and Amanda Woodburn of Raleigh.
Bill Gales stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included Clinton McDaniel of Mocksville, John Glasscock of Mocksville, Kevin Mabe of Advance and Nathan Woodburn of Raleigh.
Eris Riley of Salisbury served as flower girl, and Corbin Angus of Mocksville was ring bearer.
Serving as guest registrars were Nellie Helton and Gabbie Helton, both of Charlotte.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Cheryl Woodburn of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Nellie McNally and the late James McNally Jr. and Ruth Woodburn and the late Ralph A. Woodburn, all of Salisbury. A 1997 graduate of North Rowan High School, Tara received a degree in Dental Assisting from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1999. She is employed by Dr. Jeffery Billings DDS in Cooleemee.
The groom is the son of Mike and Polly Barnhardt of Mocksville and Bill and Diane Gales of Blounts Creek. He is the grandson of Sandy and Pert Grantham of Eutawville, S.C., and the late William Richard Sr. and Elizabeth Gales of Mocksville. A 2002 graduate of Davie High School, Seth is employed by Allied Bearings of Statesville.
Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Salisbury.
